The Consultants Collab was established with a simple belief: Every construction challenge deserves a tailored solution—not a standard response.

The Consultants Collab was founded by Thisara Ashan, a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with over fifteen years of experience delivering commercial, hospitality, healthcare, industrial and residential developments.
Throughout his career, Thisara has built a reputation for combining commercial expertise with practical problem-solving, stakeholder management and strategic construction advice. His experience spans quantity surveying, cost consultancy, contract administration and construction advisory on some of Sri Lanka’s most significant projects, where he has worked closely with developers, consultants, contractors and project stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
Believing that every project deserves independent thinking rather than routine administration, he established The Consultants Collab to provide clients with direct access to experienced professionals, sound commercial judgement and tailored solutions that create lasting value.
Beyond the construction industry, Thisara is also the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Ortho Ceylon, a specialist orthopaedic healthcare service provider dedicated to improving access to high-quality orthopaedic care in Sri Lanka. Leading businesses in both the construction and healthcare sectors reflects his entrepreneurial mindset, strategic leadership and commitment to building organisations that deliver meaningful outcomes for their clients.
